PILLAR OF LIGHT | Jacqueline Pflaum-Carlson

There is a concept in meditation that is referred to as the “pillar of light.” As I understand it, it’s a column of energy extending from the base of your pelvis upward and acts as a constant in your spiritual health. This was my visual representation of that pillar.

Jacqueline Pflaum-Carlson is a combined Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine certified physician at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. When the COVID-19 pandemic struck she found herself on the front line in all her areas of practice. As a form of self-therapy, she turned to art.
